Makati Medical Center (MakatiMed) has acquired the Atellica® VTLi Patient-side Immunoassay Analyzer, an innovative diagnostic testing platform from Siemens Healthineers, making it the first hospital in the Philippines and the ASEAN region to have this advanced equipment.

The Atellica® VTLi System is expected to have a significant impact on MakatiMed’s point-of-care testing capabilities. The system will allow MakatiMed to perform a wide range of diagnostic tests with faster turnaround times and deliver more accurate results, enhancing patient satisfaction, reducing wait times, and an overall quality of care.

“Atellica® VTLi provides a valuable additional point-of-care diagnostic tool to further enhance and speed up triaging and decision-making in the Emergency Department (ED).
