Manulife Philippines, the local arm of leading international financial services provider Manulife, continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles and long-term wellness among Filipinos through the launch of its new Time to MOVE campaign. Designed to encourage individuals to take the first step toward better physical, mental, and emotional well-being, the campaign officially kicked off with the “Run and Recover” initiative in partnership with Just Show Up, a community-driven running collective advocating health, movement, and connection in Makati City.

The launch gathered a diverse community of runners and wellness advocates, reinforcing Manulife Philippines’ mission of empowering individuals to embrace active living and sustainable health habits. Through the event, participants were encouraged to make wellness part of their daily routines while building stronger community connections through movement and recovery-focused activities.

The Time to MOVE campaign aligns with Manulife’s global commitment to helping people live longer, healthier, and more financially secure lives. It also supports the company’s strategic priority of empowering customers’ health, wealth, and longevity while complementing the recently launched Manulife Longevity Institute, a global platform focused on driving meaningful action toward improved quality of life and long-term wellness.

Building on the success of #ManulifeMOVE, Manulife Philippines’ holistic health initiative launched in 2025, the campaign integrates wellness-focused products, programs, platforms, and partnerships designed to improve customer well-being at every life stage. The initiative also responds to insights from Manulife’s Asia Care Survey and the #FYP: Future-proofing Young Pinoys study, which revealed Filipinos’ growing interest in longevity and holistic wellness, while highlighting the gap between awareness and the consistent practice of healthy habits.

According to Sonali Verma, many Filipinos aspire to live healthier and more meaningful lives, but everyday stress, demanding schedules, and daily pressures often prevent them from turning those intentions into action. She emphasized that the Time to MOVE campaign aims to remind people that wellness does not need to be complicated, and that meaningful change can begin with one simple step toward healthier living.

Manulife Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Sonali Verma underscores #ManulifeMOVE’s broader mission to support holistic health, emphasizing the importance of sustainable lifestyle changes and community-driven efforts in building a healthier future for all.

Following the successful Run and Recover kickoff, the Time to MOVE campaign will continue with additional wellness-focused activities in the coming months. Upcoming sessions include a recovery-centered event in May featuring contrast therapy after a community run, as well as a June reset experience integrating breathwork, sound healing, and nutrition. These initiatives reflect the shared vision of Manulife Philippines and Just Show Up that lasting wellness is achieved gradually through consistent habits and supportive communities.
