From a fun Easter Day with the kids to a celebration of Filipino cuisine, start filling the summer calendar with this exciting lineup of events and fresh new offerings to check out at the Shang.

Have a whimsical SpEGGtacular Easter Hunt. Hop into a space where reality and magic collide as the Grand Atrium transforms into a tropical paradise for The Shang SpEGGtacular Easter Hunt on April 17!

The beloved Easter hunt is open to kids from 1 to 12 years old. Registration fee is Php500 per child and already includes a map, a bag, and a special Easter giveaway. Every adult can register up to 4 kids. To join and for more information, visit the Administration Office, Shangri-La Plaza, Level 5, Main Wing on weekdays at 10:00AM-12:30PM and 1:30PM-4:30PM.

Make the most out Shang’s Easter décor by visiting the Grand Atrium anytime this April, and experience its whimsical makeover that also reminds people of how spending time with family is magical all on its own.

Support Filipino artists. Shang has always championed the arts, and this month is no different. Get the opportunity to learn more about Filipino art with a painting exhibit organized by modern and contemporary fine art gallery Galerie Raphael on April 22-30 at the East Wing.

Mandaluyong City-based Unang Hakbang Foundation is also holding an art exhibit on April 19-24 at the Level 5 Hallway. The event aims to raise funds for the foundation’s beneficiaries who are mainly children from poor communities. The exhibit features both amateur and professional artists aged 18-70 years old whose works focus on the children of Unang Hakbang and their hopes for a brighter future.

Celebrate the unique, comforting flavors of Filipino cuisine at Ang Sarap!. Excite the palates by feasting on everything Filipino at Ang Sarap! on April 22-24 at the Grand Atrium.

What’s a Filipino celebration without a feast? Savor delectable, homey Pinoy dishes like Sizzling Bull, Sinigang na Salmon sa Miso, and Binagoongang Lechon Belly by heading over to Shang’s newest Filipino restaurant, Cuesina Garden Bistro, located at the Level 5 Main Wing.

With activities to keep one up and about, spending summer in the city can be more than about having fun under the sun. It can also be magical and inspiring, and no less fantastic at the Shang.
